Smart Ideas, as a new company, needs to apply a very specific and detailed plan so it can start as good as possible and also start positioning in the market they’re operating in.
So, first of all, there are some techniques we can apply as a company so our service can improve, such as: Test marketing, service and brand positioning, devising warranties, determining service options and providing for customer service.
Test marketing is one of the most effective techniques there is in terms of product and service techniques. We, as a new company, first need to focus on the current service and packages that we offer so we can penetrate on our target market, but having a future forecast of a new service in a new market isn’t bad.
In Smart Ideas, as a future plan, we want to implement a new package that include a traveling destination, because according to our survey, most of the respondents favor the idea of traveling instead of having any type of event in a special occasion. The new market we will be looking for is men and woman from different cities in Colombia (Bogotá, Cali, and Medellín), from 18 to 60 years old and that are in a social status of 4 to 6.
Positioning is vital when you’re starting a company, because is the way our business is going to develop in the market and also the way we’re going to access our customers. In Smart Ideas, we’re going to pay an external company (Altamira Web) so they can develop a positioning web plan for our company, because we want to gain place in the market through our web-page and our social media accounts, which we consider are a very important strength in our business. We want to position mainly on Google, Yahoo and Bing by SEO positioning, so our page can appear on the main pages of the search engines and also that people can finds us and contact us in a more easily way.
Also, another form of positioning we’re going to implement is Buzz Marketing. Here in Smart Ideas, we give to our customers the best prices and the best quality in our services, so, because we are a new company competing against a lot of other firms, we want to “spread the voice” through our customers, that they tell all their close ones that our service is very good and, through that, create loyalty to the brand and gain more customers through time.
In Smart Ideas our customers are the most important thing to us, so our goals is to satisfy their expectations of our service. Because of this, we have strict policies about the warranties of the packages we offer to our customers. If something went wrong in the execution of the service that we provide and our customer is very upset about the package we offer, they’ll have a discount of 30% in the next package that they decide to purchase. Also, this discount can be assigned to whomever he wants or himself.
In Smart Ideas, we want our customers to feel confortable with the service and contact us whenever they feel they need to file a complaint our give us positive feedback. That is why, in Smart Ideas every we outsourced the customer services in telephone and web levels, but we assure that the external company that attend our customer will solve every problem they have and will fulfill they expectations.
